When you've decided our insulated shade is right for you, Email us your address and we'll send you color samples of the drapery fabric we have in stock for the inner cover of the Insulated Window Shade. You can see if they match your other furnishings and designs. We keep in stock a textured drapery fabric that is 100% cotton, has a soil and stain repellent finish, and a suggested retail price of $16.50 per yard. These six drapery fabric colors are white, mint, sand, sage green, natural, and champagne. You will find representations of these colors on our web site. Be sure to send for samples of the colors or color you might like. You will appreciate having the sample in hand.    

     But what if our in-stock drapery fabric doesn't match? You can send us your choice of a fabric material or sample that does fit your design and we can use this fabric to make the inner cover of our Insulated Window Shade. We will help you measure your window so the insulated shade fits properly and the amount of fabric can be calculated. 
     If you want energy savings, the best design is to have the Insulated Window Shade fit your windows as in "Pictures" on our web site. It should be noted that to eliminate a saggy look, stretchy materials should not be used for the inner cover. We have found that a cotton, or a cotton blend, fabric works and looks great for the Insulated Window Shade inner cover. The outer cover of the insulated shade is made of an off-white drapery lining.

     The material located between the inner and outer covers supplies most of the insulation value for the Insulated Window Shade. This insulation material is a double bubble plastic with a double reflective foil manufactured by Reflectix Inc. Insulated Window Shades uses all three insulation properties to arrive at an insulation value. The associated R-Value of an Insulated Window Shade is between R-4 and R-6.
